Here's some random pictures from my iphone from our Spring Break.

On Tuesday we got a majority of the garden in. We cleaned up the strawberry patch and planted 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 types of broccoli, cabbage, red onions, walla walla onions, and tomatoes. We still need to get our sugar snap peas in.

Our tomatoes are in the wells of water until the weater gets warmer.

It was so nice on Tuesday that the kids begged to get the kiddie pool out. Sadly we found a hole or two in it but it held for that day and we'll get a new one soon.

On Wednesday we went to lunch with Grandma Leavitt and then to the "wood park" to play. The boys loved it!

Easton would swing all day if he could!

After the park we went to Walmart and got kites. We tried flying them in their circle at first.

We didn't have a lot of luck out in front of their house so we headed down the street to the park.

Grandpa Leavitt helped Easton get his kite up. He pick a Blue Angels kite which he called his "blue jet" kite.

Grandma Leavitt helped Brayden and helped to keep his arms warm by hugging him. A storm was rolling in and the temperature was dropping quite a bit.

On Thursday we met Grandma for some errands and lunch at Costco but before we left, the boys both came in with lego tires on their eyes thinking they were so funny looking!

Friday morning we had a lazy start and I stayed in bed for a bit after they woke up. I came out and found them like this, snuggling in a blanket and both watching PBS kids on my old iphone.

Friday I got two new pillows sewn for our bed.

The two pillows in the front are the ones I have made so far.

While I was sewing, the boys played in the basement and came up showing me how they looked.

For Easter, Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt gave the boys caterpillars to watch turn into butterflies. We did this last year too (thanks to Aunt Stephanie) and they loved it. As you can see since we've gotten them, they have grown like CRAZY! There are 4 of them.

The other big part of Spring break, at least according to the boys, has been our mice problem. While we were planting the garden on Tuesday, the boys found two live mice in one of our window wells. We ended up using a shovel to kill them that day before Brian left. Then on Friday they spotted more mice! We found one in a different window well and more in the original problem window well! Sticky traps have taken care of most of them thankfully but the boys are OBSESSED with checking the traps and the window wells! We had to go out in the dark Friday night with their Tiger flash light (making the roaring sound and everything!) to check the traps! We have caught 3 with the traps so far. Hopefully we're done with mice now and Brian can clean out the dead ones from the window wells! It's gross!
