Hunting For Eggs

We took the boys to two Easter egg hunts the day before Easter. First we started off at our city one at the local park. It was crazy! With the kids being in two different age groups, Brian and I split up and the camera went with Brian to document Easton's adventure.

Easton got 7 eggs and Brayden got 9 eggs at the city one. Easton was happy with that and kept saying "too much candy" but Brayden was disappointed so it's a good thing we planned on going to our ward's Easter activity that included another Easter egg hunt. It warmed up in time for us to enjoy our picnic lunch in the sun and a message from our Bishop before it was time for the Easter egg hunt.

Both the kids filled their buckets at the ward activity because they had planned on a lot more people coming than actually came. There were probably only 40 kids or so and it was nice and not crazy like the city one. It was a great activity and even though we had been talking with them about the real meaning of Easter, the Bishop's remarks to the kids stuck with Brayden and it was a great way to start our Easter holiday.
