Our Bedroom Redo

Some pictures from our bedroom makeover project.

 Some of the fabrics used for pillows.  These are the colors we used plus black and white.

 I should have got a before picture of these nightstands but they were maroon before.  Brian sanded them down and then I primed them which is what this is a picture of. We scored them for $20 off KSL.  

 Our test wall.  After a few spots of color around the room, Brian painted this big section so we could get a better feel for what it was going to be like.  Big adjustment but we LOVE it!

 We moved our mattress and box spring to our family room and the boys LOVED it!  Brian and I slept there only one night while we were working on our room.

 Cleaning out our room, I found SO much dust!  It was crazy!!

 First coat done and then we went to bed.

  Next morning we did the second coat while the boys were gone to school.

 All done that afternoon.  We put our furniture in, cleaned ourselves up, picked a babysitter up, and went out to celebrate being done and pick up curtains, a duvet cover, and a few other items for the room.

 Our bed.  My nice Aunt and Uncle were getting rid of it like 6 years ago and we took it and have stored it in our basement.  We repainted it white for our new room.

 The only piece of furniture we didn't refinish.  We found this on KSL and it was done by someone who refinishes furniture as a side hobby/business.  I LOVE IT!

I have since made the two pillows in the front and have to finish my yo-yo pillow and a few other pillows.  Not to mention put together the picture frame collage I'm planning on the wall above the bed.  Hopefully sooner than later! But it's nice to have a nice new room that we both love!
