Easton was blessed today in our sacrament meeting. We had a wonderfully busy day that started with our niece, Rachel's blessing at 8:30am in Provo! We were able to be there for her blessing and then we hurried back to our house to get ready for Easton's blessing and the luncheon that we hosted at our house afterwards. Great Grandma Leavitt, Great Grandpa Leavitt, Grandma Leavitt, Grandpa Leavitt, Uncle Logan, and Aunt Torey all came over before the blessing and we took some pictures. It ended up being a VERY windy snowy day so we weren't able to get pictures outside of the church or with the men that participated in the blessing. Brian gave a wonderful blessing and I still need to get the notes from my Grandma who wrote as fast as she could. Uncle Logan, who is still a Teacher, was able to participate by holding the microphone into the circle which was nice! Those in the circle were Brian, Grandpa Leavitt, Grandpa Petersen, Uncle Bruce, Great Grandpa Leavitt, Great Grandpa Petersen, and Bishop Pitcher. Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Petersen were only able to stay for sacrament meeting so we never got a picture with them but we were grateful they were healthy enough that day to come! All of Easton's Great Grandparents were there except for Great Grandma Price who already had a trip to Turkey scheduled for this time before he was born and his GREAT Great Grandma Burkle who isn't traveling anymore.
Afterwards we had a luncheon with our family and a few friends that were able to come. We limited who we invited because our house just couldn't hold that many people! We had a lunch of pulled pork over rice, various fruits, and salads. Then we had a variety of cookies for dessert. We ended up having 29 people for lunch! It was a little tight but we had the PERFECT number of seats! It was a great day and we're grateful to those who helped us celebrate Easton's arrival into our family and to those who wanted to be there too!
Be aware...there are a TON of pictures!!

Easton Scott Petersen on his special day. His middle name of Scott comes from his Great Great Grandpa Price who was a wonderful, righteous man.

Easton and to compare, Brayden is below.
They wore different outfits but had the same shoes and similar quilts both made by Aunt Carrie.

So peaceful and almost smiling!
