Today was Easton's VCUG test up at Primary Children's. Our pediatrician said to possibly plan on two hours so we dropped Brayden off with Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt (they took him to Uncle Logan's baseball game against Pleasant Grove) and we headed up to Salt Lake. We got there a little bit early but headed in and we were seen right on time! Easton barely cried when they had us get him undressed before they wrapped his legs together and put the catheter in! Of course while they were doing that he proceeded to pee and poop on the x-ray table! But they got him all hooked up and as fast as it started, it was over! We were out of there in 20 minutes! The test went well and we're thankful that everything was normal with him today! Now we'll just wait to see what the pediatrician wants to do next!
We were so excited that we took Easton out to dinner for the first time with us to our favorite resturant, Kyoto, in Salt Lake! Gyoza, sushi, tempura, and steak teriyaki was just what we wanted!! Yum! He was great and slept in his carseat without making a peep!!
Update: 3/18 The pediatrican said everything looks good and that he'll have another ultrasound at 6 months to check and see if his left kidney is still big. No blockage or reflux though so hopefully his kidney is larger than normal for no medical reason! Yippee!!
