Today was Brayden's third birthday! I can't believe how time flies! I hate that he's growing up so fast! With today being Sunday, we had a small celebration with Grandma Petersen, Uncle Bruce, Aunt Beth, Cousin Rachel, and our little family before the big DINOSAUR party tomorrow! We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast even though Brayden wanted "ramen noodles"! But don't worry, he had his "ramen noodles" for lunch! Then we made cupcakes! He was in charge of putting the sprinkles on after Mom frosted and he made it through almost all of the cupcakes before I looked over and he was eating one! At his request, we had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, along with strawberry jell-o and strawberry kool-aid. (I guess he was going with a red theme in his mind?) He opened just a few gifts tonight and his favorite was definitely his DINOSAUR costume from Grandma and Grandpa Petersen! Brayden didn't really like us singing "Happy Birthday" to him but we told him we HAD to if he wanted to eat cupcakes!
Brayden we love you so much and feel so lucky to be your parents! You never cease to amaze us with the things you learn and what comes out of your mouth! You will talk to anyone who will listen about anything and everything! You're so much fun and have endless energy! In these two weeks so far, you've been a great big brother and are so protective of Easton! We can't wait to watch you two interact more as you both grow! (And see what you'll teach him!)
Happy Birthday little buddy!

What? I wasn't supposed to eat one yet?!?

How many more can I get my hands on?

He was SO excited to have party hats for his birthday and couldn't wait to wear them! He wore it around the house almost ALL day!

Grandma Petersen was is "Grandma Heaven" with all her grandkids!! Think she'll be able to hold these two babies like this when they're 10??

Aunt Stephanie sent Brayden a Spider-Man card that had stickers in it!

We gave him Lighting McQueen and Mater so he had something to open on his actual birthday!

The Dinosaur Costume!

He's always trying to find his tail!
