Homemade Ice Cream with "Uncle" Shane

So we invited Shane over for dinner last week and I made homemade ice cream for dessert. Shane and I put smashed butterfingers on our ice cream while Brian put strawberries on his. For some reason Brayden decided that he wanted to share Shane's ice cream instead of mine. (Probably because he knew Shane would give him more than I would!) Here's a few pictures of the ice cream experience...


I tried to get them to both smile for the picture but I couldn't get Brayden to tear his eyes away from the ice cream! Oh, and in case you were wondering how Brayden appears so tall...he was standing on Shane's leg, not a basket!

Shane enjoyed watching the faces he made as he ate the ice cream!

There goes the hand! Brayden decided Shane wasn't giving him enough so he stuck his entire hand in Shane's bowl of ice cream!

Shane obviously thought it was hilarious that Brayden's hand was covered in ice cream!

After the ice cream experience, we shared a "Brayden first" with Shane. For some reason Brayden has found that he can gag himself by sticking his finger down his throat. It drives me crazy and I'm ALWAYS getting after him for doing it! So Brayden started doing it and I was telling Shane how I'm always having to get him to stop sticking his finger in his mouth! Shane tells us that he'll probably just gag himself enough that he vomits once and that will have taught him his lesson and cured him of sticking his finger down his throat! Well, Brayden must have heard that because almost as soon as Shane said that, he threw up on the carpet!! We'll spare you the details but let's say it's something that we hope never happens again....and so far, it hasn't! Maybe Shane was right?!? :)
