Great Grandpa & Grandma Leavitt in Oroville

On Sunday night we drove from San Francisco to Oroville, California to see my grandparents. (Note: Oroville is a little town about 90 minutes north of Sacramento that my Grandparents have lived in since my Dad was like 3. We referr to Oroville in our family as "O-Town.") We were so excited we got to spend some time up there with them! I have SO many fun memories of my time spent there and I really wanted to share that with Brayden before they move up here to Utah. Brayden got to have a bath in their laundry tub (something that all of us have done when we were little and visiting), have Grandma's homemade chocolate cake, enjoy orange julius' with fresh squeezed oj from their orchard, drive down Devil's Dip, see the Ishi monument, enjoy pancakes, and run around their place. Here's some of our favorite pictures from our visit there....

Grandma wanted to take us to a new park that had these little wooden bears.

Daddy got in on the action too!

Okay, so the whole family got in on the action.

Grandma made me my only birthday cake this year which also became a birthday cake for Brayden. He LOVED the cake and would go from Grandma, to Mommy, to Daddy, and then to Grandpa for tastes!

Great Grandma made Brayden and the rest of us pancakes for breakfast.

Brayden loved the pancakes!

Both mornings he had his bath in the laundry tub.

For those of you who haven't been to O-Town, this is Lake Oroville. It's a fun place and this was taken during a break from the rain, thus the rainbow.

This is Table Mountain, a Oroville Landmark. Growing up we'd go have picnics, fly kites, and pick wildflowers up on top.

Brayden loved their little rocking chair! I think we need to get him one!

Great Grandma and Brayden. He'd sit still on her lap if she would give him her watch to play with.

Grandma had a Dr. appt so they left for that before we left to the airport. Grandma didn't want to say goodbye!

Great Grandpa and Brayden

Grandma has had these raincoats since I was little and she gave this one to Brayden. We decided to take some pictures around their house with him wearing it before we left. I am jealous their spring flowers are already up and here we are still living in a winter wonderland?!?
