Not a whole lot of excitement today! After Brayden went to preschool, we headed over to see Granny & Gramps. (That's what my boys call my Leavitt Grandparents.) We grabbed some lunch, picked up Grandma Leavitt from work, and headed over to see Granny & Gramps and Grandpa Leavitt who was there with them. We had a good visit. It was the first time we'd seen Grandpa since his scary seizure over the weekend. He ended up having some kind of infection that caused a high fever and seizure but he's back to the Alpine house and doing well.
Granny wanted us to have her head wraps/dressings that she got in Israel 15 + years ago. She said she'd figured I'd end up doing a nativity sometime in my life and since she trusted me with them, I got to have them. Brayden was excited and wore one for awhile. We'll let the boys use them next year to be shepherds as we act out the nativity I'm sure.
We got home, took some naps, and said goodbye to Daddy! He'll only be gone 3 days this week so it seems much more do-able right now!
