So yesterday I went to my doctor appointment and my blood pressure was high. (138 over 88) They were concerned about it and the doctor I saw wanted to strip my membranes and have that baby! I told them how Brian was out of town and was able to convince them to wait. Their condition was that I go back this morning and have my blood pressure checked again and take up my case with the doctor on call for today. So needless to say, Brian was getting nervous about having to get home sooner if needed and of course I was nervous about everything!! I hadn't packed my bag for the hospital yet and still had things on my list I wanted to get done! I was sure the stress of it all wasn't helping my blood pressure!
So this morning I went in and got my blood pressure checked again and it's back to normal! Thank goodness! Brian will come home tonight as planned and then we will welcome this little boy into the world on Friday! I'm so glad I get a little bit longer to rest up and get a few more things done...not to mention spend some time as our family of 3 before we become a family of 4!!
