Here's another week in review...it seems to be easier to post this way lately since the last few weeks have been filled with totally random things! We've been working on a lot of things around the house this past week! Some projects not pictured have included hanging a few things on the walls in the nursery, reorganizing the linen closet, and spray painting some wicker baskets to hold this baby boy's laundry and blankets. (Nothing REALLY exciting to anyone else but me...I'm just TOTALLY in the nesting phase and am wanting a completely clean and organized house!) Brian, in his few days home, was nice enough to start on refinishing my rocking chair. He was also great to help me with the other projects as well as put up with me in my crazy hormonal state!
We met up with Shane on Tuesday for lunch at Cafe Rio in Sandy. Brayden hadn't seen him in his uniform before and was completely entralled with all of the patches! Shane explained to Brayden that he needed his uniform to fly so of course the next thing out of Brayden's mouth was, "Where are your wings?" Brayden was expecting wings like from his Buzz Lightyear costume, not Shane's name patch with his wings on it! Shane also decided to spoil Brayden with a big bag of Nike stuff (from his trip to the Nike Employee Store in Portland) and also a few things for this little boy coming soon! Thanks Shane!!
This REALLY is a horrible picture of me but for the sake of recording my progress, I'm sharing it with all of you! Here's me and my big belly at 37 weeks!
Like I mentioned last week, one of the projects we were undertaking was to redo the boys/guest bathroom! We figured when the rugs and towels were wedding presents and that we've been married for almost 7 years, it was time for an update!
BEFORE
AFTER
We didn't paint or anything but a new shower curtain, rugs, towels, hooks, and a new picture sure brighten up the bathroom!
As for this past week's baby update...
I am still pregnant!
It's true! But to elaborate for all of you that are interested...we saw the perinatalogist yesterday and his kidneys have stayed the same size over the past month so that was encouraging to me. He will still need to see a pediatric urologist sometime in the first month of life and then we will go from there with the pylectasis. The estimations of his weigh increased in the last month, as the should have, from 6 lbs 2 oz to 7 lbs 9 oz as of yesterday. (The margin of error is great at just over a pound now so it's not really THAT accurate.) So with two weeks from yesterday as my induction date, and gaining half a pound a week, he could be close to 9 pounds! It was comforting to have them tell me that he's not big enough that they are for sure recommending a c-section at this point though, but we'll see how labor goes.
At the OB today...I've only dialated another half a centimeter so I'm now at 2 centimeters and still 50% effaced! I know, SO much progress over the last week huh?!? Discouraging for me to hear but good for Brian to hear as it was comforting to him since he's in the middle of a big work stretch! He's out of town, with the exception of less than 24 hours, from now until Valentine's Day! Crazy huh?!? If needs be he'll be jumping on a plane at any moment but we're hoping I won't go into labor until he gets home or just go to my induction date! Cross your fingers with me everyone!!

Love the new updated bathroom. Good luck with all the nesting. I will be praying your baby boy doesn't come while Brain is gone. I know the stress of that since Cam was gone for 8 days while I was pregnant at the end-stressful for sure! Good luck! Look forward to hearing when he arrives.
