Last Sunday we celebrated my 27th birthday! (Yes turning 27 and now having 2 kids makes me feel OLD!) Easton slept great the night before and I'm convinced it's because he knew it was Mom's birthday! I was woken up by my boys and had Brayden sticking my present about two inches away from my face! He had helped Brian pick it out and everything on Friday night and had been wanting me to open it since they brought it home! (They had also gotten me flowers the day before!) He also had told me it was a necklace so the big surprise in opening it was seeing what KIND of necklace it was! I was VERY spoiled with a gorgeous diamond necklace!! I LOVE IT!! After Brian made breakfast for Brayden and I (waffles and sausage), he headed off to church. He had to teach Sunday School and Elders Quorum at church and we didn't want Brayden to catch something in nursery and bring it home so I stayed home with both the boys! That was my first time alone with both of them and we survived!
After church and after Brayden's nap, my family came over and cooked dinner! A yummy Szechuan pork stir fry with carrots, sugar snap peas, and peanuts! My Aunt Julie and Uncle Todd came over to visit and see Easton and then we all had the famous Leavitt homemade chocolate cake and cheesecake for dessert! Brayden was excited to help me blow out my candles...probably because he's excited for his birthday coming up THIS Sunday! With both boys asleep, Brian and I ended my birthday with pina coladas and a game of Hand and Foot! Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes I got throughout the day! I'm one lucky gal to have such great family and friends!

he's definitely a leavitt baby! i looked at a picture of him and thought, "he looks like his grandpa leavitt in this one!" and then i saw the next and thought, "he looks like logan in this one!" and then i looked at another and thought, "he looks just like brayden in this one!"
Easton is adorable and I'm glad you had a great birthday. The big 2-7 is quickly approaching for me and I'm not sure if I'm going to like it much.
