We spent one morning of our trip walking around all the cute little shops in Port Townsend and were surprised to find this in one of the antique stores! We even had intentions of bringing it home with us, that is until we saw the price tag of $600!
It's a first edition copy of Parley P. Pratt's autobiography. I can't remember for sure but I think it was published after his death by his son sometime around the 1870's. (For those of you who don't know who Parley P. Pratt was click here.)
