Hawaii Day 6: Tubing

Saturday morning we woke up and ate breakfast and headed off to go tubing at our friend Sean's place, Kauai Backcountry Adventures.  We had a blast the day before ziplining so we knew we were in for more fun.  Their tubing adventure is the only tubing on the island of Kauai.  They give you hard hats with head lamps and gloves as you go tubing through old plantation canals...some of which are open and some are like dark tunnels!

Brian as we left our hotel to go tubing.  We had a Mustang convertible for our time on Kauai and he enjoyed driving it around!  He never did ask me to drive...

 So in front of the picture is the canal we tubed in and behind it is the river where they get the water that goes through the canals.

 Here we go out to tube!  We weren't allowed to try and stay together or hold hands to stay by each other so we ended up being separated most of the time. :(

 This guy's face is hilarious!  It was a VERY calm tubing trip, no rapids or anything crazy but he hammed it up for the camera.

 At the end was a freestyle section where we were able to stay together.  We took a picture for another couple and they took ours too.
