Is the summer really over?!?! Brayden was SO excited to start First Grade but when the alarm went off at 7am, I think we all wanted to keep sleeping!! (Easton did!) He had woken up at 6am and was asking if it was time to get ready yet but he managed to fall back asleep and be ready to NOT wake up at 7am when it was time! He was so excited/nervous that he didn't eat much breakfast but his new lunchbox is full of all the things he wants so hopefully he won't starve today! For lunch he requested: turkey sandwich with lettuce and mustard, applesauce, carrots, capri-sun, fruit snacks, go-gurt, and cookies. And I threw in a small package of gummy bears too! We'll see how much he ate when he gets home! He ate, showered, and was ready to go by like 7:30am so we took lots of pictures while we passed the time!
Since his backpack from last year still looks almost brand new (LOVE his Lands End backpack!) we told him if he kept it he could pick whatever lunchbox he wanted and when the Pottery Barn Kids catalog came, he found what he wanted!! Darth Vader!
(Excuse my crazy eyes! 7:30 was a litte too early for me!)

He's SO excited for First Grade! He's looking forward to "3 recesses and lunch at school!"
He's growing up and has a lot of missing teeth! He's lost 7 so far!
Brayden and his teacher, Mrs Henrie. It's her first year teaching at the school and he's excited to have her and Mrs Lee (the TA) this year. He has a different teacher for math too...I think Mrs Baugh.
