The afternoon of our 2nd day we spent the day at Crazy Horse. They've been working on this for over 50 years and they still aren't close to completing it. It was interesting to read more about the history of Crazy Horse. The scupltor worked for awhile on Mount Rushmore and the local Indian chief there asked him to come make this and basically said so that the white man will know that we have heroes too. We were done looking and about to leave when we heard there was going to be a blast at 5pm so we waited and watched that before leaving. The blast was the highlight of our time there for Brayden.

You can see the workers in this picture.

The blast we got to watch.

This was taken with my iPhone. I was really surprised how far away it was from the visitor's center but I guess with them still actively blasting, it's necessary!
