Scarecrow Festival & Barnyard Boo

Friday, October 17th, Brayden and I spent the ENTIRE day with his Grandma Leavitt!  We had slept over the night before (she was the only one home at her house and Brian was out of town) and we had a fun day planned!  (Uncle Logan and Grandpa were off to Leavitt Family Deer Camp, and Aunt Torey was in San Fransico to run the Nike Womens Marathon!)
We started off at Thanksgiving Point for the Scarecrow Festival and then headed over to Barnyard Boo at Farm Country!  Brayden loved all the things to do!  He went on a train ride, played games at lots of different booths, went down the inflatable slides with Grandma, decorated a trick or treat bag, got a Halloween tattoo, ate Kettle Corn, went bowling for ghosts, got a pumpkin balloon from the clown, played Halloween croquet, rode a pony, dug for skeleton bones, and on top of it all, he got to feed the animals!  (He LOVES Farm Country!)  Needless to say, we spent a lot of our day there!  Poor guy crashed in the car on the way back to Grandma's house!
Off on their train ride!
I love this picture!  If you click on it and look at it blown up, they both have such smiles on their faces!
Pulling back into the station.
Grandma was SO nice to go with him on all the slides!

Brayden's favorite slide...you came out of a huge shark's mouth!
He's one serious pony rider!

He loved all the scarecrows once we convinced him they wouldn't actually "scare" him!

Later on that night we headed up to South Jordan to spend the evening with his Great Grandma Price!  We ate a yummy dinner at Cafe Rio and got to see her new baby turtles/tortoises that were only a week old!  He was sad at first because they were too little for him to hold but once he got over that, he LOVED them!  Especially when they would pop their little heads out or walk around on my hands! We all slept well that night after such a fun day!
