Happy 27th Birthday Brian!!

So I know it's almost an hour early, but since Brian's in New York City working this weekend, it's already his birthday there! I'm waiting up to finish making his favorite cookies (mint chocolate chip) so that he'll have some kind of treat on his birthday. (He doesn't land in Salt Lake until around 11pm so it's kind of too late to have cake!) Plus, this way he can take some cookies with him when he leaves again on Monday afternoon to work in South Carolina until Thursday night!

In honor of his birthday, I'll like to share some reasons why I think he's great and also some of my favorite photos of him....

I think Brian's an amazing father! Brayden loves to play "hide and seek" with him around the house and is always happy to see him when he comes home!

Brian's got a good sense of humor (with exception of some of those "DAD" jokes!) and is always willing to give something a try. Case in point, this picture of us before going to my work Halloween party a few years ago....as a chick magnet! He won the funniest costume award and the prize was a box of Ding Dongs!

I love this picture of us, from the cruise to Mexico we took with my family a few years ago. I love exploring new places with Brian...no matter where we are, I always feel safer when I'm with him! He's a great husband!

Brian's is adventurous, like when on our cruise, we went off by ourselves and Brian decided to body surf by himself. They had said the current there was quite strong but that didn't stop him! (I'm pretty proud of this picture too....getting him mid wave and all.)

This is a picture of Brian's 25th birthday....we celebrated with members of the singles ward we were serving in at the time. Fun memories!

This picture is of Brian and my little cousin, Katelyn, the Thanksgiving I was pregnant with Brayden. I love that Brian was willing to wear her hair clip in his hair! I can't wait to see him with our daughters (if we have any!). Also, an early Happy Birthday to Katelyn who's birthday is June 11th!

I love this picture of Brian and I on Christmas morning in Seattle in 2005. He always makes holidays fun! Also, at this point, Brian was so supportive while I was pregnant! Always taking care of me...especially towards the end!

And finally, Brian's always willing to do things for others...like blowing up the kiddie pool in Seattle for Brayden during our recent trip. He's great!

Hopefully you don't all feel like I've bragged TOO much about my wonderful hubby! Happy Birthday Brian!! We hope you have a great day and that you travel home safely to us tonight! Thanks for being so wonderful! We love you lots and lots!!

***Also, Happy "half" Birthday to Jacob Calvert!! Hope you are doing well and that you get to celebrate this "half" birthday a little bit! :) We want to come and visit you guys sometime soon!!***
