On our last Saturday there we headed to the zoo with Aunt Carrie, and Grandpa & Grandma Petersen. It was Easton's first time and he seemed to really enjoy the animals that were close enough and active enough to catch his attention! One of our favorite animals was our first stop...

This time they were the most active we've ever seen them! We watched them for quite awhile!
Another favorite of the boys...the elephants! Brayden was sad about the baby elephant who had died a few years ago and constantly talked about how sad it was. Easton was just content to watch them, especially the one getting a bath in the elephant house.
Yeah, I think the smiles show what he thinks about elephants!
Brayden had to sit on the little elephant statue! Oh and see his panda mask his cute aunts helped him make the night before?!? He wore it the WHOLE TIME we were at the zoo!

Brayden enjoyed riding on Grandpa's shoulders...Aunt Carrie's too! And walking around holding Grandma's hand! He loved having so many people around to explore with!

We ended at the flamingos and it's a good thing we did! Brayden had a meltdown there!
We also enjoyed getting to run into Megan and Jared and their boys one last time! Brayden and Andrew are good buddies and we love getting to see them a few times a year!
