I had a wonderful Mother's Day! Brian got home from Miami about 3:30am but still got up when Brayden did (9am) and the two of them made me breakfast in bed. Brayden ended up eating probably more of my breakfast than I did, but I didn't mind sharing. Then they had me go out into the family room and see my present....a new Maclaren stroller. I had been wanting a new one so I was very excited! But I was even more surprised to see that Brayden (with Daddy's help with some of it) wrote me a message on the stroller box. Brian was pretty trusting of Brayden to give him a Sharpie pen to draw on the box! (I'm glad it ended up ONLY being on the box!)
After church we got to talk to Elder Bruce Petersen on the phone! It was so nice to be able to talk to him and it only got us even more excited to see him on May 31st!! (15 days!!) Then we went down to my parents' house to enjoy a salmon dinner with my family, my Grandma, and my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. It was a good day, and beating Brian at Hand and Foot later that night only added to the greatness of the day! :)
