Orlando, Los Angeles, New York City, & Seattle

Question: What do these cities have in common?

Answer: They have all had the privilege of having Brian spend a weekend in 2007 with them. (That's something that Brayden and I can say we haven't done!)

Yeah, so Brian's been working so far every weekend of '07. He wasn't scheduled to go to Los Angeles or Seattle until a few days before those weekends but he's ended up going. (As much as this might sound like me complaining, I am really not! I promise!! If anything I am probably jealous of all the fun things he's been doing!) It has been hard having him gone so much and especially teaching eight 10 year olds in Primary every Sunday while also having Brayden with me, but I am grateful he has the opportunity to provide for our family and also learn all kinds of new things. He has met all kinds of people and seen some fun things. Some of the highlights of his recent trips include visiting Chinatown in NYC, seeing the Los Angeles Temple for the first time, seeing Les Miserables on Broadway, eating at In-N-Out Burger in LA, having the "best fettuccine alfredo ever made" in Little Italy in NYC, and being able to have dinner with his parents and older sister in Seattle.

What's up next for this crazy traveler?? Las Vegas!! But don't worry, Brayden and I get to tag along next weekend too! We're even flying Grandma Petersen in from Seattle to come play too and watch Brayden so we can catch a show or two at night. We're looking forward to being able to finally spend a weekend together as a family in 2007!
