Every year we go up American Fork Canyon at least once in the Fall. We take a picnic lunch up, stop and eat it, and then continue on to Cascade Springs where we take a walk. This year we did the same but also included a stop at Tibble Fork to let the boys throw rocks in the lake. They loved it and Brayden was so funny about seeing all the colors! Some of the things he said included, "These colors are so beautiful they make me just want to get out and pick a leaf" and my favorite, "Trees are just miracles. They do so many things for us." We asked why they are miracles and his reply, "They give us shade, make our food taste better because of their sap (he just learned about maple syrup), they are beautiful, and they give animals food and shelter." We are never not laughing at the things coming out of his mouth!
