Polar Express

Last night we went with our good friends, the Blackwells, to the North Pole on the Polar Express! Brayden was SO excited and has been waiting and waiting for the day to arrive! Mom and Dad were just as excited about getting our first taste of In N Out in Utah on our way up to Heber to get on the train! The boys wore their pjs and we had a great time! Probably not something we'll do every Christmas but every few Christmas seasons for sure!

We got on the train with Mrs Claus and she gave us Santa's favorite cookie recipe!

The cooks brought out cookies and hot chocolate and Brayden was serious about drinking it!
Our train car was decorated all cute!
The conductor came by and talked with Brayden.
Brayden even got to wear his hat, but wouldn't put down his hot chocolate still!
After a little while, it was time to read to book so we'd be ready when we got to the North Pole to pick up Santa!
Easton even enjoyed reading the book with Daddy.
Dad had to explain to Brayden about being patient because he was SO excited!
Once we picked up Santa and headed back for the station, it was open mic time and the kids got to go up and sing songs or tell jokes. Brayden's joke..."Knock Knock. Who's there? Alli. Alli who? Alligator!"
He was so proud of himself and did it without ANY help or encouragement from us!
Santa came to our car and gave the boys a bell. Brayden couldn't be bothered with looking at the camera!
He loved his bell though!
Easton enjoyed his bell since it made noise!

That looks like so much fun. There is a Polar Express in Sacramento too. I hope that Erin and her family get to do it next year.
