Some of you know that I have been looking to buy another house as an investment. A couple of weeks ago, I closed on a duplex in Anderson, Indiana. Anderson is a small little town about 45 minutes northeast of Indianapolis. Don't ask why I decided to buy a duplex in Anderson, Indianapolis, I'm not completely sure myself. A couple of days before April 1, Jamie and I talked about posting pictures of the duplex and claiming that we were selling our house in Utah and moving into the new duplex, but for those that didn't realize it was April Fool's day we thought it might be too big of a shock. We are not selling our house in Utah, and we will sell this duplex as soon as possible, but it was undervalued (you're gonna have to trust me on that one!) and for someone who has a rehab and rental business in Indianapolis this little duplex will work very well. The first set of pictures are from the inspector that I hired before I purchased the duplex. These are only pictures I saw before I purchased the it.

The internet connection is being very slow, and so I am losing patience. I will post more pictures later. My company sent me to Indianapolis this week for work, and so I was able to drive out to the duplex and take a look at the house. I took some additional pictures, but it all looks pretty much the same. I was able to talk to one of the neighbors, and learned that the empty lot next to the house is actually mine as well! What an added bonus...
