We flew up to Seattle to spend Christmas with the Petersens. It was fun to finally have everyone together since there have been missionaries missing from the Christmas festivites for the last few years! And this was Brayden's first time celebrating Christmas in Seattle!

Flying during the holidays always provides EXTRA time in the airport! Brayden used this time to listen to Dad's ipod and watch all the airplanes out the windows! (Airports are the best for little boys! He can't get enough of all the cars and planes!)

Christmas Eve we headed to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens to check out all the Christmas lights! Brayden loved them!

Christmas Eve also brought new pjs to everyone (Thanks Aunt Carrie!). Brayden loved rolling around in the wrapping paper!

Grandma had these fun antlers around the house and Brayden thought they were fun to wear!

Daddy and Brayden in their new Christmas pjs! Everyone had matching ones! (We all took a family picture in them but I haven't got a copy of it to post!)

Grandpa, Brian, & Brayden had a boys excursion to a train store and came home with a new train to go around the Christmas tree. Thanks to some helpful Aunts, Brayden was taught how to control it on his own, whistle and all! He was VERY proud of himself!

Grandma picked up some rain boots for Brayden before we came and as you can see, he put them to good use! Even in his pjs, you couldn't stop him from stomping in the puddles! He's still wearing them at home...in the snow that is!
We had a lot of fun in Seattle! We loved seeing the Calverts, Bakers, and other friends and family members! Other highlights included seeing I AM LEGEND at the IMAX at the Pacific Science Center, a dinner just the two of us at Anthony's (Yippee for fresh seafood!), a Luau/Summer BBQ to ring in the start of winter (complete with a castle building contest), a trip to the Seattle temple, and after Christmas shopping! Not to mention all the time we had to relax and be with our family!

Way to be so positive about being with your in-laws. (Yours are great by the way and mine are too!) But I was just really impressed by how you only had wonderful things to say about being with them and not being with your family over the holiday. Mine and Mike's are just acrossed town and I miss being with my family when I am not there. I am glad you enjoyed it! It was fun to see you, if only for a moment. Happy New Year!
