Caramel Apples
Last Monday night for Family Night we decided to make caramel apples! Brayden just loved it and had so much fun! We tried two different methods...the caramel wraps (sold in the produce section) and old fashioned way of melting the caramels and dipping. They old fashioned way takes a little more time but produces nicer looking caramel apples that have LOTS more caramel! Since then, we've been having fun eating them and sharing them with our family!
Brayden couldn't hardly wait to eat the apples! Those a favorite food (currently) of his!
Brayden and Daddy got the job of putting the sticks in the apples! As you can see, Brayden was really trying hard!
Using ALL his strength....even from his face too! :)
And after he succeeded, he celebrated with his touchdown dance! That's our boy!
He just has to stir anytime we make anything! He's really into helping in the kitchen!
Brayden with the finished apples! We got a little creative and tried dipping them in Oreo crumbs, Nutter Butter crumbs, and chocolate...they were all VERY tasty!
